Obituary of William G. Travis Sr.
William G. Travis Sr. was born on July 6th, 1958, in Buffalo, New York, to his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth. He was the youngest out of all his late siblings. Thomas, Betty Kay, Barbara Ann, and Mary Ellen. William met his beautiful wife, Denise, at a Hamburg Beach party when they were 13 years old. They were married for 42 beautiful years. Denise and William went on to grow their family with the addition of their children, Tracey, Rachel, William Jr., and the late Tiffany.
Many people would describe William as a pushover when it came to his kids, they could ask him for anything, and he would do it for them. Once he was given the title of papa, his grandchildren became his life; he adored his children and grandchildren and his three dogs, Mable, Teddy, and Buddy. Spending time with his family was very important to William. He would look forward to going to the fair yearly; he loved going out for a Friday fish fry with friends and looked forward to summer so he could swim with the kids. If his family was involved, he was happy with whatever they were doing.
William will be remembered as a strong and hard-working man who was a fantastic Husband, Father, and Papa. He will also be recognized for his dedication to his family, ensuring they lived a good life and never seeing a day of struggle.
