Julie Anna Marie was born in Buffalo, New York, on November 23rd, 1975, to Edward and Pamela Kowalewski. As an only child, her parents could devote much time and care to Julie. She loved spending time with her family, especially her extended family members, and was very close with her grandfather. Many cherished memories were made for her during family events and parties, where she loved to sing "Happy Birthday" to people. Julie had a boisterous, good sense of humor and was always laughing; her father made her laugh. She was very affectionate and loved snuggling on the couch.
Going for car rides was a simple pleasure for Julie, as she enjoyed the bumpy feeling of the ride. She especially enjoyed going to her grandparent's house or getting peanut donuts. Julie loved ice cream, spaghetti, mac and cheese, pizza, and peanut butter cracker snacks. She liked putting money in vending machines and handing change to store clerks on her own. Julie had been a part of the Suburban Adult Services Inc. program for about 12 years. During her time with SASi, she enjoyed special trips and activities, which she thoroughly relished. Julie was known for always wearing slippers because she hated wearing regular shoes. In her free time, she liked to listen to story tapes, like Sesame Street, where she could read along with the audio and know when to turn the pages. Her greatest joy in life was music. She would listen to Lennon Sisters' records with her grandfather Joe and liked Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison, and primarily Kenny Rogers, who she had the opportunity to meet. She loved snuggling with her grandma Stadler and grandma K and kept telling grandpa K to stop playing the horses.
Julie will be missed for her humorous, sweet personality and unwavering dedication to family.
'With all my heart and all my soul, I will love you till the winds don't blow. Until the oceans turn to stone, my love is yours and yours alone. My love is forever, until forever's gone"
