Obituary of Franklin S. Mirabelli

Franklin S. Mirabelli was born in Buffalo, New York, on December 5th, 1934, to his parents, Franklin and Adaline. Frank worked for the Buffalo News for many years, beginning as a hopper. He graduated to driving and moved up to district manager.

Even after retiring with 70 years of service, Frank still ran a route to make sure the news was delivered properly and on time, oftentimes taking his two dogs with him.

Frank had many hobbies, including Coca-Cola memorabilia and collecting cars. He was proud to be the owner of an original 1955 Ford thunderbird and the 50th Anniversary edition 2005 Ford Thunderbird.

Flying was also one of Frank’s Passions. He obtained his pilot's license and would frequently pilot a Cessna. Frank would often say, “There’s nothing like flying.”

Franklin will always be remembered for his hard work and dedication to his family and his work.

Mirabelli, Franklin S. entered into rest July 22, 2022.
