Obituary of Brian S. Pikul

What can I say about Brian?

What can I say about Brian? He was a son, brother, father, partner, and friend. He was also a good guy, dependable and caring. He loved music as a teenager and still enjoyed concerts with his grown sons.

As far as music, he loved Billy Joel and the Beatles, especially Paul McCartney. This may have been because he shared a birthday with Paul on June 18th. He worked hard at all his jobs over the years. That work ethic was genuine and passed down to his sons. He worked hard and played hard.

He switched it up, going from the Kentucky Derby yearly to season tickets for the Buffalo Bills. The Bills games are where he shined. Tailgating was his superpower. He always had something on the grill and would welcome anyone to the party. During the off-season, he enjoyed everything and anything. He would follow hockey, car racing, baseball, stop by the casino or go to Bingo with Lisa.

Brian was the second son of Joan and Steve Pikul, and he did not disappoint. Giving Joan and Steve their first grandchildren, Nicholas and Kevin. Brian has a brother Greg who has lived in California for many years. Brian traveled there many times and was even able to go to Hawaii, where he enjoyed hiking, snorkeling, and the local food.

He loved to cook and was always open to trying something new or different. He shared his love of food with his brother Jeff. They both worked in the restaurant industry and worked side by side at the same restaurant for a while. Recently the three brothers became neighbors and grew even closer.

What can I say about Brian?

He lived and loved on his own terms; He was always smiling. He was a loving son, great Dad, loyal brother, and faithful friend. We will miss him dearly but will always think of him during football season when we all shout GO BILLS!!
