Obituary of Dolores R. Williams
Dolores "Dee" Williams was a tough Italian matriarch woman with a tough exterior but on the inside cared deeply for loved ones and friends. Born on the West Side of Buffalo to Phillip and Concetta Peschio, Dolores was the youngest of thirteen children.
She met the love of her life, Robert, at OLV hospital while working as a nurse and Robert as a police officer. They were married in 1953 and had a wonderful life together for sixty years. Dee and Robert had two beautiful children, Michael and Robert Jr. They made their home originally in Woodlawn and later in Lakeview, NY. The family traveled several times a year to either their condo in Florida or relaxing on a cruise. Both Dolores and Robert were inseparable until he passed in 2012.
Dolores was a great cook, and her specialty was her famous sauce, which she passed her recipe down to her family to enjoy. She also enjoyed coloring in her books or sitting quietly, and knitting. A devout Catholic, Dolores would spend her Sundays at St. John Paul II praying to Mother Mary, her special savior saint.
Dolores will be greatly missed by all she touched.
