Carl Nardolillo

Obituary of Carl Nardolillo

Carl Nardolillo was born in Buffalo, New York to Michael and Carmella and was the youngest of four. When his father passed, he was very close with his mother and often visited her each morning with snacks and other necessities until she passed at age 110. He was a devoted family man and father who dedicated his life to raising his seven children on his own. Carl always wanted his children to do well in life, and sometimes ruled with an iron fist to not be outnumbered by so many children. Losing both his first and second wives Audrey and Mary so young left Carl to raise his family, take care of the home and run his business on his own; this made Carl strong and resilient. Practice came in the form of his days spent in the military when he served in the US Army during the Korean War. He co-owned an Italian Marble and Granite company in Elma, NY with his childhood friend for about a decade before retiring at age sixty-two. His many children gave him 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren with who he became very close. Carl loved to tease them, and they learned to tease him back as they grew older. Passing his passions in life onto his children and grandchildren was inevitable as Carl enjoyed fast, beautiful cars such as Cadillacs, Mercedes, and Corvettes. He always kept them clean and tidy and expected the same habits from his children. When he was younger, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and later in life, adored his 25-foot-long boat the Nardolillo. Spending time on his boat alone was precious to him and he loved this very much. Carl will be remembered for his dedication to family and missed for his ability to make others laugh and smile in any situation. Nardolillo, Carl of Orchard Park, NY passed November 15, 2021. Beloved husband to the late Audrey (nee Tarr) and the late Mary (nee Richardson); devoted father of Cheryl Barone, Wendy (Edward) Kwitek, Carl Nardolillo Jr., Kenneth (Mary) Nardolillo, Carmen Nardolillo, Matthew (Michelle) Nardolillo, and Nicholas (Denise) Nardolillo; beloved grandfather to 18 grandchildren; also survived by many great-grandchildren; devoted son of the late Michael and Carmella Nardolillo; loving brother of Frank Nardolillo, Roseanne Lucci, and the late Marie Rogers.
