Obituary of Sharon M. Hagen
Sharon Hagen, affectionately known as Sherry was born into a large family and raised in Buffalo, New York to Harold and Eileen Rashley. She held old-fashioned values and was incredibly proud of her family. Sharon adored her children and grandchildren and always made quality time for everyone. When Sharon met her husband James at "The Hitching Post" in Blasdell, she was in need of change for the payphone, for which James intervened, being the gentleman that he is. They shared great conversation, laughter, and one sweet dance. And, the rest, as they say, is "history." In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and was very talented at needlepoint and crocheting. Sharon enjoyed giving her handmade work to people she loved and those that deserved love, such as family, those in need, and Veterans. All who knew Sharon knew she loved Diet Pepsi, and some would say it was what flowed thru her veins. Sharon was a true country girl at heart. She will be missed dearly for her outgoing, witty humor and her love for laughter. Hagen, Sharon M. (nee Rashley) of Hamburg, NY passed November 14, 2021. Beloved wife of James A.
