Obituary of Elaine Louise Ciallela

Elaine Ciallela was a woman who was always there for the ones that she cared for in life and would give anything she had to them. She was a great listener, and gave good advice, helping others grow at their own pace. Elaine was married to Donald Bridges, and though the two divorced, they remained close and supported each other in life. Family was very important to Elaine, and she did everything she could to support her children. Her son Brian was in a band and she was always supportive, coming to shows often. She was also very close to her daughter Dawn and her son Shawn, who tragically passed away in 2016. Although Elaine had heartbreaks and struggles in life, she remained smiling through it all and always had a great attitude about things. She grew up in Lackawanna where things weren't always easy but she always did her best for herself and those she loved. Becoming a Nana to her 5 grandkids was one of the best things that ever happened to her! Her cat, Marco, was also a bright spot in her life. Elaine was always very politically aware, and always watched the news so she knew what was going on, even when she didn't like the news or the politicians. She enjoyed watching soap operas, her favorite being General Hospital. Elaine will be missed dearly by those who were touched by her kindness and love. Ciallela, Elaine of Hamburg, NY on August 28, 2021. Former wife of Donald H.
