Obituary of Sally Bissell

Sarah Bissell, affectionately known as “Sally” was a family woman who loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed family picnics in the backyard and watching her kids and grandkids. One of her favorite pastimes was playing Bingo as well as reading and listening to music. While in the nursing home, she discovered that she enjoyed coloring! She was active in St. Paul's Church of Angola serving on the council as well as becoming co-warden. She volunteered at Lakeshore Hospital, Senior Companion and Operation Good Neighbor for many years. Sally touched the lives of many people and she will be missed by all. Beloved mother of LouAnn (Sonny) Conway, Jeffrey (Kathy) Bissell, Kim (Michael) Somers, and late Edie Sherwood; devoted grandmother of Robert Bissell, Sarah Somers, Jessica (Edward) Groff, Michael Somers, Jennifer Sherwood, Steven Conway, and Kyle Sherwood; loving sister of Jack (late Ann) Merrick, Skip (Jackie) Merrick, and Gene (Sheila) Boser; also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.
