Rena Toole

Obituary of Rena A. Toole

Rena Toole was a passionate, fun-loving woman with a great sense of humor who loved to be around people. She had a great personality and was a real "people person." She could start a conversation with anyone she ran into. A bit straightforward, she was a fearless woman who did not care about other people's opinions. Rena was one of five children, and despite being the smallest one, she was their protector. Family was very important to Rena, and she would do anything for them. For example, if Rena were making pies for a holiday dinner, she would make five if she had to, to ensure that each family member had a kind they liked. Being a skilled baker, she always made birthday cakes and lots of desserts for every family gathering. Having had strong family values, Rena was very close to her late mother, Jeanette. The pair lived together, and Rena cared for her until Jeanette passed away. She was a huge animal lover. Her cat, Prince Harry, whom she adored, was her life. It was known that Rena made a habit of trying to help any animal she could, whether abandoned, hurt, or one that needed a home. Rena enjoyed going to concerts; her favorites were the Goo Goo Dolls and Michael Buble. She knew bassist Robby Takac, who frequented the market she worked for and often made him cookies and other treats when he was in town. She was also a huge fan of John Rzenik, the band's vocalist, along with Normal Reedus from the Walking Dead. When not going to concerts or spending time with family, you could find Rena playing bingo or going to casinos. Toole, Rena A. of Buffalo, NY passed May 1, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late William and Jeanette Toole; devoted sister of the late Edward Toole, the late Matthew Toole, Michael (Pamela) Toole, Sr., and the late Lynn Toole; loving aunt of Kristina, Jessica, Michael Jr., Megan, Dylan, Makayla, Alexander and Nicholas; caring great-aunt of Jayde, Mark III, Kendall, Jemma, Sophia, and Kennedy; loving mother to her furbaby Prince Harry.
