Jeanette was an intelligent woman who enjoyed a simple life. Born in Buffalo in 1937 to parents Otto and Betty Spranz, Jeanette spent most of her life dedicated to her parents. Family was an incredibly important and essential part of her life. Jeanette cared for her parents until their passing. Jeanette also cared deeply for the Headd family, who brought her into their care. From holidays to assisting with life's challenges, Jeanette was part of the Headd family, and they were part of her family. Jeanette, as kind as she was smart, was dearly respected by her friends and neighbors.
Family, friends, and neighbors were not Jeanette's only passion. After graduating from Kensington High School in the 1950s, Jeanette moved on to work for Bernard J. Huber's law office in the Guarantee Building of downtown Buffalo as a legal secretary. Jeanette's wit and dedication made her the perfect fit, and she consistently spoke fondly of her position. Jeanette would work for Bernard J. Huber for most of her life. When not working or caring for her friends and family, Jeanette was also a woman of faith. She was once a member of St. James' Roman Catholic Church and sang in their church choir. Later in life, she was an active member of Fourteen Holy Helpers Church in West Seneca, NY. Other hobbies included celebrating her German and Austrian heritage through dance, listening to classical music, spending time in nature, and spending time with her cats.
Jeanette was an unforgettable and wonderful woman who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
