Vicki Brownell

Obituary of Vicki Brownell

Victoria, loving known as Vicki by many, had an immense amount of love to give to everyone she met. She was a “people person” through and through, always up to spend time with others. Her caring heart made a career choice as a Registered Nurse an easy pick. For approximately 32 years, Vicki proudly served families at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY and developed a wonderful community connection. Family was an essential part of Vicki’s life. She adored both her late Father Eugene, and late Stepfather Dennis, as well as her late brother Eugene Paul. Vicki was immensely proud and adored her nieces Alexis, Ashley, and Anna. However, her best friend was her mother, Margaret. Vicki was always there for her mother, serving as her rock through loss and life’s rough patches. Margaret also helped Vicki in any way she could. The two always tried to call each other every morning and every night just to check in. Spending time with her loved ones also blended into her hobbies. Vicki loved the beach and frequently traveled to Florida’s Venice Beach and Key West with her mother, Aunt Joan, and late Stepfather. Whether it was dancing in Mallory Square or watching a perfect beach sunset, Vicki always had a great time. The casino was also a frequent trip with her mother. Throughout her battle with Ovarian Cancer, Vicki stayed optimistic and took every day as a gift. Vicki just loved life. Vicki will truly be missed for her infectious smile and beautiful heart.
