Obituary of Robert M. Stanton

Robert Stanton, more affectionately known as Bobbos, Lil Bob and Bobby, was a young man with a heart of gold. Bobby was a wonderful person with an infectious laugh and smile that always uplifted those around him. He had a lot of love to give and was always generous with his emotions for others, unfortunately not leaving much love for himself. Bobby attended Frontier High School and later achieved his High School Equivalency Diploma, which he was profoundly proud of. He went on to become a mechanically inclined, handyman; he was a member of Buffalo Carpenter’s Local Union #276 and adored his job. Music was important to Bobby as he always had his headphones on, singing along. He loved rap artists such as Eminem, Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle, the most. One of his favorite songs was “Young” by Kenny Chesney. He also enjoyed listening to Bruce Springsteen’s cover of Prince’s “Purple Rain” with his father. In his free time, he enjoyed going out on the boat and dirt biking. He could easily bond over the show “Friends” with anyone, too! Bobby loved cats and had two of his own that he cherished, Girlie and Simba. Being an uncle to his niece Teagan gave him extreme pride as he loved her very much. Family was everything to Bobby, as they were the ones by his side through his struggles in life. Addiction and depression were a lifelong battle for Bobby that he fought everyday to overcome. Bobby will be remembered for his light and love, though honored through happy memories shared, of moments in laughter. Stanton, Robert M. “Bobby” Suddenly July 15, 2020 of Lake View, NY.
