Jean Panfil

Obituary of Jean M. Panfil

Although Jean was a hard working independent woman, she was a born-again Christian who trusted in Jesus Christ alone for her life's walk and especially for the salvation of her soul. God's love for her, revealed at Calvary, changed her life completely. Jean attended Winchester Community Church where she taught children's Sunday School right up to her going home to Heaven. She also loved to read and study her Bible leading her to do Bible studies at Seneca Woods where she resided. Her speech was always seasoned with grace with the purpose of edifying and lifting up others that she met. Jean was also active in local politics and enjoyed voicing her opinions to improve her community. For work she cleaned used appliances and at times was involved in sales at Quality First Used Appliances till the age of 76 when she retired. In her spare time she loved to shop for others. She loved to buy knick knacks for her home. She especially loved her collection of snowmen which she displayed all year round! Family was a source of pride for Jean as she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean's sweetness and smile will truly be missed and always remembered by all that loved her dearly and her spirit will live on in acts of faith.
