Judith was a loving and thoughtful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and friend. Family was incredibly important to her and she enjoyed having family and friends over for holiday celebrations, especially Christmas. She also always watched her children’s sporting events and supported the endeavors of her beloved sons.
Judith’s beloved family began when she met Tom, her future husband, in 1967. The pair were married 45 wonderful years which brought their three sons: Marc, Paul, and Matthew. Judith also enjoyed her job as an English teacher at West Seneca East Jr. High. She felt pride in educating students for 38 years until she retired in 2003.
Judith always liked to keep busy and had various hobbies. Judith loved to travel and go to the casinos with Tom, including a trip to Vegas 3 to 4 times a year. Judith also loved baking and cooking. Homemade Turkey dinners were a favorite and Christmas never lacked cookies thanks to Judith. She also showed her love by baking a special cake for every birthday. If Judith was not preparing meals or snacks, she could be found gardening, sewing, playing cards, or cheering on her 7 grandchildren.
People say that baking and cooking are love made edible and Judith was a pure example of that. She will not only be remembered for her talents in the kitchen, but her caring heart.
