Obituary of Marilyn Rae Pike
Marilyn was a very caring woman who always wanted to make sure those she loved were taken care of. She made sure to always have a loyal friend by her side, as her love for dogs brought poodles and shih tzu’s into her life. Marilyn married her late husband Richard in 1953, after being neighbors with adjoining yards for quite some time. The two grew their family by two with the additions of Dorothy and Rachel. When her dear Mother passed, she took care of her siblings and helped raise them. She worked a job she enjoyed very much in catering with Island Park and babysat children as well. Marilyn was a quiet woman who relished in the simple pleasures of life. The holiday season was greatly cherished by her, and she loved making cakes for everyone’s birthdays and weddings. In her free time, Marilyn was involved with ceramics, crocheting and gardening; she always grew butterfly bushes to attract the butterflies. Pike, Marilyn Rae March 17, 2020 of Buffalo, NY.
