Michael was known by everyone who knew him as a hard-working guy who had a great sense of humor. He always had a joke ready for anyone he ran into or for complete strangers he happened to strike up conversations with. He was a proud Air Force Veteran before entering service in a different way by becoming a sheriff. He served as Deputy in Erie County and ultimately retired from Orange County in Florida after 30 years in service to the two communities. Michael was a dedicated husband to his wife, Tina. The two were blessed with three children: Pamela, Michelle, and Allison. Eventually their family grew and welcomed 6 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom Michael loved spending time with. His favorite treat was a Boston Crème donut from Tim Hortons. One of Michael’s favorite pastimes was playing with computers. He always loved to play with the latest electronics, all the way back to the ‘80s. He also loved watching Jeopardy, rooting for the Buccaneers, listening to Jazz music, and filling out crossword puzzles. He went through 10 or 12 crosswords a day sometimes! Sailing, boating, and riding his motorcycle with Tina were his favorite things to do outdoors.
