Obituary of Margaret E. Boyles

Maggie was a strong and loving woman who held her family close to her heart. Known to be feisty when she wanted to be, Maggie knew how to keep her children in line and take care of the household. Growing up in south buffalo and throughout life, Maggie was incredibly proud of her Irish heritage and never missed an opportunity to celebrate it. After the passing of her first husband to leukemia when she was only 32, Maggie met her second husband, jesse, during her younger sister’s wedding while they were both members of the wedding party. It was love at first sight and the two were married exactly a year and a day after. The two would spend many years together until jesse’s passing in February 2014. When Maggie wasn’t taking care of the household, she engaged in tons of activities that allowed her to spend more time with her loved ones. From daily 5-mile walks with jesse to frequent lunch dates with her children and grandchildren, Maggie always had ever-growing family close to her. Her love for red lobster, savory’s, and red top hotdogs were unmatched and a go-to for special events or fun outings. Maggie also cherished her yearly trips to myrtle beach with Jesse where she would spend her time walking the beach and collecting seashells and sand dollars. Each trip became longer than the next. However, she refused to miss Christmas or Easter with her family and could always be found dancing at family events, especially weddings. When not at myrtle beach or her favorite restaurants, Maggie spent time baking for her loved ones. Her famous pumpkin squares and pineapple cheesecake were family favorites. No matter the type of event, her family members always asked her to make them. Boyles, Margaret E. (nee Brogan) “Maggie” January 21, 2020 of Hamburg, NY. Beloved wife of late Jesse J.
