Rosella Morgano

Obituary of Rosella J. Morgano

Rosella, affectionately known to her nieces and nephews as “Aunt Ro,” always put family first. She cherished all time spent with her family members, playing board and card games with her great-nephew Colin and happily shopping for her nieces and great-nieces. Rosella enjoyed traveling with her nieces to places like Cape Cod, Arizona, Washington and even Disney. They would also go camping with the trailer in places like Allegheny and more. Birthdays and Christmas were cherished by her; any reason to celebrate the ones she loved! She had many close friends and treated them all like family, always generous and good to them all. Rosella wasn’t really into cooking, but loved to be in the kitchen, in the middle of the action with the family. She was a regimented eater and always had meals at the same time every day, no matter what! Rosella was amazing on the grill and made a delicious chicken tortellini soup. The tradition of the food on St. Joseph’s table was very important to her as well. Her faith was strong in God and Jesus. She was extremely devout and never afraid to express that. She was part of the Cursillo Movement at her church and never missed mass. Rosella was a peacemaker who wanted peace and love for everyone. You could spill your heart to her, and she would always keep your secrets safe. In her spare time, Rosella enjoyed shopping for clothes and jewelry; she loved dressing up and even her purses had to match every outfit! Her simple pleasure in life was chocolate. She especially loved Dove chocolates and fudgesicles too! Rosella was a teacher who loved her students very much. She had an ability to connect with even the most difficult students and make a lasting impression on them. Her approach was tough love, but everyone respected and loved her for it.
