Obituary of Carole L. Wynn
Carole was a kind and loving woman with a warm smile and the most beautiful blue eyes. She met her husband, Carl, at the Big Tree Inn. It took only 9 months for him to propose to her, and the couple were married on opening day – which led to a lifetime of conflicts between anniversary dinners and hunting! The couple were blessed with 4 children; Wendy, Cynthia, Sandra, and Laurel, who eventually gave them 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Carole adored them all, and her family was everything to her.
She had a variety of hobbies and a wide range of talents. A gifted seamstress, she often made costumes for Halloween and other events. She even made authentic German outfits for Octoberfest! Cooking and baking were also strong suits of hers. She made the best pies and cookies, with her apple pie being her specialty. She decorated birthday cakes that you would think were professionally done. She taught her kids to can and bake as well. When she wasn’t cooking or sewing, Carole loved playing games like pinochle and poker. She loved to take the kids camping and also was an avid skier.
Animals were another thing that Carole took great joy in. She always had a dog in the house, and loved her pups Pepper, Nikki, and Lucky immensely. She loved to feed birds as well. There was always a full feeder to welcome her beloved birds, and often grape jelly as well. That was her special treat for them!
