Christopher James, beloved Son of Gregory and Kathy and loving brother of Gregory Jr, and John, also cherished brother in law of Jamie, was known by many as a very selfless and caring Man. Surrounded by many Family and Friends, he cherished their love so much so, he was known to keep every card he has ever received throughout his life. He loved and adored his Niece Sadie, his Godson, Jacob and his two nephews, Nathan and Benjamin. Chris’ dearest friends and partners in crime Dave and Amanda Gerwitz and Rachel Ritz shared countless good times and supported him always.
Since Chris was a small boy, he was known to many as a Hockey Enthusiast collecting many trading cards and memorabilia. He was on many hockey teams and at the age of 16, had the opportunity to play on team USA in the Czech Republic. Besides the love of hockey, Chris had a passion for Mustangs. Unbeknownst to Chris, his family and friends restored his ’66 Mustang after having it off the road for seven years! Chris was very good at taking things apart and fixing them. After his second double lung transplant, Chris became the proud owner of the Competition Orange 2016 Mustang, noting that he owned two Mustangs 50 years apart! Chris graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburg where he finished top of his class receiving the Dean’s award. Also, the award for perfect attendance of which he was most proud! With his Associates degree in photography, Chris had an exacting eye for capturing the ordinary and making it extraordinary!
Chris has touched so many people in different ways he will always be loved and in our hearts.
