Joyce was a loving and caring mother, friend and loved one of many.

She was very dedicated to our country and a retired Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force. She was active in Vietnam and Desert Storm.

In her civilian life she was a nurse and worked at the West Seneca Development Center until its closing. She then worked at the NYS Prisons and joked that “she went to jail everyday and she wore combat boots”. Joyce was non-stop, always busy and always on the go…. but that was who she was. Joyce loved her family and friends and seemed to organize every party. They were always themed, which she requested costumes which she made a lot of. She also loved to have tea parties with her granddaughters. Besides her being hard at work and taking care of her family she loved going on vacations, which one was Aruba and she had a passion to collect sea glass. Joyce also loved to garden and plant flowers. She would take her grandchildren to the Botanical Gardens to look at the beauty of the flowers. Orchids were one of her favorites. Joyce will be dearly missed by her family, friends and loved ones.
