Eleanor also known as “Ellie” was a loving mother, companion and friend.

She met her husband Jack in the neighborhood, and he had whistled at her, which Ellies mom did not like, but ended up being married for 76 years. They started a family and raised five children, Patricia, Jack, James, Gary and Gregory.  Ellie loved to camp, square dance and traveling with her husband Jack. They would go on cruises together and enjoyed going to the Poconos. Ellie was a devote Catholic and always attended mass as often as possible, even if she rode her scooter at 98 years old.  She was also head of the bereavement committee at Saint Peter and Paul Church and when she was living in Florida. Ellie loved to cook dinner for her family and some of her favorite people, until the end. She was known for cooking SPAM in 100 different ways. Ellie liked to crochet and read. If she was listening to music, she loved ballroom dance, country or liked the jitterbug. Ellie would dance with Jack on occasion and would often say in the later years, she hoped Jack was in heaven because she wasn’t going to hell to find him. She truly loved and lived for her grandkids and great-grandchildren and will be dearly missed by her family friends and loved ones.

Please take an angel coin in honor of Ellie and keep her memory forever in your hearts.
