Lisa was a fun loving, very laid back, kind of private low-key kind of gal. She would always laugh through the hard times no matter what. Lisa was always there to help and if she said she was helping you; you couldn’t tell her otherwise!
Lisa was a loving and sometimes hard and whacky mom to her children, Kaitlyn, Maria and Austin. She loved to always give her personal feedback and would say that if your family doesn’t pick on you, then they don’t love you. She was known in her kid’s ring of friends as “Mama B”. She always provided for the kids and would make sure they were fed and all the friends at the house were too. Lisa was somewhat of a klutz and has several crazy stories which most seemed to involve Tops Markets, surprised they were never sued! One time in winter Lisa went to get groceries and the wheel of her cart caught a pothole and she tumbled over the top of the cart. She only went to Tops to ask them for the security tapes so she could laugh at herself and show her friends. Another time taking a bicycle home from Tops she broke her ankle but didn’t have her phone, so she waited for help. Her son Austin saw emergency vehicles on the side of the rode driving by but didn’t know it was mom. When she got ahold of her kids she screamed “You’re all dead to me!” Lisa was a tough lady and a hard worker, always moving and always on the go, but would always be laughing even if she got mad. Her son Austin ticked her off so bad she threw a frying pan at him but missed and hit the door frame, of course Austin being like his mom said “Hit me next time!” She one time was so aggravated that she threated to rip her daughter Maria’s arm off and beat her cousin with it. Lisa didn’t take any crap. Lisa loved to play Candy Crush, Bingo, Words with Friends and Trivial Pursuit. She loved to watch shows like Criminal Minds, Investigation Discovery and of all things…. Sponge Bob SquarePants! Lisa was always late and joked about being late to her own funeral so her kids would always give her a “Lisa Buffer” and lie to her about what time to be somewhere. Lisa’s crazy, fun loving personality will be truly missed by her family, friends and loved ones.To send flowers to the family of Lisa Besant, please visit Tribute Store
