Obituary of Charles N Muscato

Lorraine T. Muscato (nee Stoklosa) passed away on March 5, 2019, and was joined in Heaven by her loving husband Charles N. Muscato on June 11, 2019. They both passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. They were the beloved Parents of Gregory (Laurie) Muscato and Richard Muscato; Loving grandparents of Charles "Chas" Muscato; and aunt and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Lorraine celebrated life to the fullest and always faced adversity with strength and grace.  We will all miss her smile, her piano playing, her wisdom and insights, her love, listening ear and wit. Lorraine was daughter of the late Stanley and Angeline (nee Niedziela) Stoklosa; sister of the late Dorothy (Richard) McCormick, late Joan (Robert) Nowicki, and late Theophil Stoklosa; and had two amazing caregivers (Edie Haier and Nicole Hagler).

Charles was a dedicated family man and provider. He was an influential man of few but meaningful words. Charles advocated for education and a strong work ethic. He retired from Moog, Inc. in East Aurora after 43 years. Charles was son of the late Charles and Kathryn (nee Durso) Muscato, Brother of the late Josephine (Gage) Talamo, Frank (Donna) Muscato, and Marilyn (Don) Gawronski.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church - 66 E. Charles and Lorraine were a loving couple whose lives revolved around their family. The pair met in Brant, NY in 1958. They grew their family with their children, Gregory and Richard, as well as their grandchild, Chas. Throughout life they supported each other through good and challenging times, knowing the importance of family.

Charles provided for his family by working at MOOG Inc. in East Aurora for 43 years retiring in 2003. He stressed hard work, education and family while sharing his love of the outdoors with Sunday drives in the country, skiing, hunting, fishing and supporting his children through their endeavors. While raising the kids, Lorraine filled the house with love, wit, wisdom, her lovely piano playing and her firm discipline.

At the end of the day, THEY wanted to provide for and nurture each other and their family
