Mickey was a fun-loving guy that would do anything for anyone. He even helped the people he didn’t necessarily care for. Mickey seemed to never get mad and he never swore.
Mickey and Holly were married 38 years and Holly helped raise his three boys, Robert, Thomas and David which were Mickey’s from a previous marriage. Mickey had a love and passion for snowmobiling. He was at one time the original dealer of Artic Cat snowmobiles in Buffalo, which he did out of his home. His love of the sport was how he met Holly. Mickey retired from Local 71 as a sheet metal worker. After retirement he drove a school bus for the West Seneca School District. Most of his spare time was dedicated to snowmobiling, it was his life. He would work on sleds all year long and loved to fix them for other people. Mickey loved to go to Canada for snowmobiling trips. Some of his favorite places to visit were Huntsville and Cochrane, Ontario. When Mickey was younger, he would also like to go hunting and fishing. One of his other favorite things to do was meet his friends every morning for breakfast at Gardenview Restaurant and if they were headed on a snowmobile trip the group would meet for coffee and donuts at Paula’s. If you caught Mickey listening to music, he loved country tunes and anything from the 60’s.
Snowmobile; break it, ride it, fix it, repeat!”
