Obituary of Sarah Barry
Sarah was a vibrant woman with a smile in her eyes that could steal your heart in a second. Sarah met the love of her life, Ray, in 1960 working as a waitress. She started teasing Ray about his dirty work clothes and the two hit it off right away. They started a family and enjoyed watching their son, Raymond, grow. Sarah overcame many challenges in her life, but she always fought hard with a positive attitude. Sarah loved unconditionally and was the primary caregiver in her family. In Sarah’s life, if you were her friend, you were family. She had strong bonds with lots of friends, several lasting over 60 years.
Sarah enjoyed a lot of simple things in life. Time spent with her family, playing with her cats, making master pieces in the kitchen, and tending to her garden. Sometimes Sarah would stay up all night long playing board games, card games, wii bowling, Atari Pacman… you name it, Sarah would play it! She may not have won every game every time, but because of her giving nature she certainly was a champion at the game of Life.
