Obituary of John Jordan
John was a man who was driven to do what was right for his community. 30 years ago, he started out his law career by working out of his parents’ house, and he went on to become a defense and matrimonial lawyer. Also, for a little while, he served as the Town Prosecutor in Hamburg. One of his high-profile cases even got him featured in a Hollywood documentary! John saw the world in black and white, but he firmly believed that everyone deserves due process. He donated a lot of legal services for people in need so that they wouldn’t be without help.
Outside of work, John was larger than life. It was well known that the party didn’t start until he and his beloved wife, Jeanine, showed up. He had a dry Irish sense of humor that you couldn’t help put appreciate it, even if he was taking every chance he could to tease you. John also loved going on vacations, especially if he got to travel. While he would go to New York for Yankees games, he preferred to be anywhere that had a beach! He loved getting to spend St. Patrick’s Day in Dunedin, Florida.
