Obituary of Roger Tredinnick
Roger was a dedicated man who knew the importance of hard work. He joined the US Navy in California and served his country faithfully. When he came home, he worked for 23 years as a heat treater at Dresser Industries. When they closed, his family urged him to become a corrections officer, and he worked for the NYS Department of Corrections until his retirement. He was very handy around the house, fixing anything that he thought could be improved. Thanks to his hard work, he got to travel quite a bit as he grew older. He and his beloved wife, Kathleen, had a house in Florida where they would spend their winters together. With Kathleen and some of their closest friends, Roger explored most of the 50 states and the National Parks.
Roger was an incredibly smart man, and he liked to use his skills for trivia nights with his friends and family. He loved dancing, even just around the living room when a song he enjoyed came on. In his free time, Roger’s favorite place to be was Lake Erie. He bought a boat so that he could go out on the Lake for fishing, which was one of his very favorite past times.
