Obituary of Carl Casper
Carl was a hard-working and respectful man who did his best to instill the same values in his children. They knew him as a loving, but sometimes tough, father. He met his Wife, Joyce, in 2001 at a wine tasting event, and they both knew that was the start of a beautiful and adventurous time in their lives.
Travelling was a pastime Carl enjoyed as often as possible. During his life, he visited many National Parks throughout the US. The local favorites like Niagara Falls and the Adirondacks were just the tip of the iceberg. He also visited, and had a great fondness for, places like Death Valley, Rock Creek Park, the Sequoias, and Kings Canyon. No matter how far the destination, Carl drove there if possible, enjoying all the sights along the way.
Another thing Carl was known for is being able to fix just about anything. He was an electric engineer by trade, and had a natural curiosity for the way everything fit together and worked. His kids knew that they could bring him just about anything and he would tinker with it until he managed to fix whatever was wrong with it.
