Obituary of Helen Miller
Helen had determination that helped her in life, both with her career and with her favorite pastimes. When computers started coming out on the market, she made a point to start learning all that she could about them. With this knowledge, she was able to excel in her work, especially in her time as an Administrative Assistant at Counsel on Aging in Florida. In her free time, Helen enjoyed crafting and creating. Her talent for crafts such as knitting, cross stitching, and crocheting was obvious to anyone who saw one of her creations. She’d even won an award for one of her quilts at the Erie County Fair!
Helen was a vibrant woman who had a passion for adventure. She loved to be active, going bowling twice a week and swimming in sunny weather at Riverside Park. However, her favorite way to spend a day was at an amusement park, riding a roller coaster! At Disney, she trekked the great Space Mountain and always had her hands up for the drops. As a young woman, her favorite amusement park was Crystal Beach, where she would dance, swim, and ride the famous Comet.
