Obituary of Patricia O'Connor

Patricia was a strong and loving woman whose world revolved around her family.  She met her husband “Winnie” when she was thirteen.  He was dating Patricia’s sister at the time!  Together they raised five children. Patricia enjoyed children very much.  She worked with both special needs and gifted children and wrote a children’s book about a Bunny tying his shoe. When Patricia wasn’t caring for children she loved playing games.  She would never let you win, declaring “No Gimmies." Patricia is also recognized for her service to the Democratic party having served as Vice-Chairwoman in Erie County and in Orchard Park. She was active in volunteering on campaigns in the local, state and presidential races.  Volunteering was important to Patricia.  She was a regular volunteer at the Orchard Park Senior center and travel club. She loved to play the slots at the casino and poker with her family on a monthly basis.  her favorite pastime was BINGO.
