Obituary of David McTigue
David was a warm-hearted man who enjoyed trying new things. He especially liked to experiment with his cooking, like when he would make deviled eggs with different colored yolks. He would also make cookies, cheesecake, and even tuna melts (Mary’s Favorite)! When he was younger, David would spend his time bowling in the TriCo League and later he started Wii Bowling. He also enjoyed taking in the view whenever he went out, whether it was boat watching at Canalside or people watching at the fair. He always liked the water, and he’d spend two to four weeks almost every year in Florida to sun soak on the beach.
David was known for his patience, his desire to make others happy, and his love. When he was babysitting his grandchildren, he always had them listen to their mother. While he would at times serve as a 3rd parent, he wanted to make sure that the kids respected their parents. David’s nickname from his brother was “Fish,” which was fitting, because he often did funny little fish voices when talking to make people smile.
