Obituary of Robert Moesch
Foggy was a selfless man with a heart of gold. Whenever someone was in need of a little kindness, he made sure to always offer them a meal and a place to stay. He had a way of making everyone feel comfortable in his home. Family was his everything, and he was incredibly proud to pass on his passion for cooking to his son, Robert. His legacy was how well he treated the people around him.
The two main mottos that Foggy tried to live by were “Eat, Drink, and Be Merry” and “Family, Food, and Fish.” He was an avid fisherman and had a boat that he would fish from. He was famous for his “Tilley Hat,” a type of hat that was both durable and practical for sailing and fishing.
Foggy was a chef by trade, and his talents in the kitchen were astounding. If you heard that he was cooking, you knew that you had to be there. He catered for many years and was the original chef of Rue Franklin. One of his favorite meals to make was Stromboli, though he also loved to grill as well.
