Obituary of Clayton Maranto-Mortenson
CJ was a free spirited young man who was fascinated with the world. He loved his science classes in school, much more than math and English, especially when he got to get hands-on with his learning. CJ wanted to explore everything that he could, and he wanted to learn even more. Riding his bike was one of his favorite pastimes for this reason. He wanted to be an athlete, and he would challenge his little brother for competitions, though his brother would always win. CJ loved his brother dearly and was very protective of him. He had a special bond with all of his siblings, and cherished each of them. He was incredibly loving, and when he was excited, he would radiate joy.
CJ exerted individuality in all that he did, and he was fiercely passionate about the things he loved. His favorite color was green, so even his room was painted green! CJ also loved reading comic books, and his very favorite superhero, or anti-hero that is, was Deadpool. He also loved the water, especially when it meant spending time around Lake Erie. He wanted to get a kayak so that he could explore the waters.
