Obituary of Anthony P. Genau
Anthony, or Tony as he was known to most of his friends and family, was a kind-hearted and loveable man. He always had a smile on his face and a joke at the ready to lift anyone’s spirits. Making people laugh was one of his biggest joys in life. Whenever he ran into a female acquaintance, he would compliment her by comparing her to a beautiful move star – and he always had a long list of movie stars in his head to choose from. Everyone he met was the most important person in the world at that moment, and he wanted nothing more than to make people feel good.
The History Channel was almost on if Tony had the remote. He was a huge history buff, especially when it came to the civil war. He may have seen every Civil War documentary ever shown on TV.
Tony was an incredibly devoted husband to his wife, Janice. Tomorrow would have been their 25th wedding anniversary, and being the kind and loving man he was, he undoubtedly would have brought her flowers to brighten her day. Please take a flower to celebrate all the wonderful years Tony spent on this earth brightening the lives of everyone he met, like a rare and beautiful flower brightens any garden.
