Obituary of Michael Denecke
Mike was a hard-working man with a passionate love for the outdoors. He loved to spend his time near nature, and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and most of all, hunting. Mike would travel to Belmont, New York to go deer hunting, and sometimes even turkey hunting, but for the most part he was just happy to have his day spent outside. He happily shared his passion for nature with his children, often taking his daughters camping in New Jersey, Delaware, the Adirondacks. Of course, when they wanted, he also took the kids to Disney.
Above all else, Mike cherished his family, especially his daughters, Kobie and Karlyn. He was a selfless man, and always wanted to take care of the people close to him. Whenever Mike came to see you, he brought something. Duct tape, jelly beans, wine, always a small thoughtful or funny token. He often brought his daughters tangerines given with a sly joke and a smile.
