Obituary of Margaret D'Auria
Margaret was an incredibly hard-working woman, and she loved to care for her family. She married the love of her life, Angelo, when he came home from the Army during WWII, and they raised their family together for 51 years. Margaret was always cooking for everyone in her home, no matter if they were family or friends. She was an extremely talented baker, and she was practically famous for her pies, especially her Lemon Merengue. The crust on her pies were unbelievable, and her guests could never get enough!
Margaret was a spunky woman with a heart of gold. She loved to watch things that made her smile, so her favorite TV Show was Dancing with the Stars. She also liked musicals, especially the classic lighthearted ones that could make her laugh. Margaret wanted to spread that joy to every part of her life, so it was no surprise that she worked for Niagara Candy for over 30 years, bringing happiness to kids of all ages with the sweets. She always kept candy in the house for her family, especially the classic Niagara Chocolate Bars.
