Obituary of Phyllis Flynn
Phyllis was a cheerful woman who never seemed to have a down day. She was always incredibly laid back and relaxed, and nothing seemed to truly get under her skin. That never stopped her from observing the people she loved and give them fantastic insight. Some things were just so obvious to Phyllis that others had never thought about. She was also an active member of St. Monica’s Guild at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, and enjoyed helping the community through service.
Phyllis was a wonderfully passionate woman, and she found joy in so much of her life. Whether it was golfing at Park Country Club, bowling at the Buffalo Club, or traveling all over, Phyllis enjoyed being out and about. However, what she loved more than anything was painting. She adored oil painting and impressionism, and she found it useful for her art to show emotion. The Walt Disney Organization even offered her a job as an illustrator, but she turned it down so that she could return home.
