Obituary of Carol Lee Mackay
Carol Lee Mackay, 76, of East Amherst NY passed away peacefully, surrounded by love and prayers on April 12, 2018. Born in Tonawanda N.Y. on November 11, 1941. She was the daughter of Mary (nee Tuman) Walters and the late LaVerne Walters, she attended Tonawanda Schools.
Carol Lee worked in the corporate world for more than 30 years before she left to follow her inner calling, as a gifted teacher in WNY's holistic community. She created her own series of classes and facilitated workshops and retreats on Healing and Self Transformation and was the founder of Accelerated Healing. Carol Lee loved supporting others in developing their hidden talents and creating the life they truly desired. She brought joy and inspiration to her students and dear friends that were part of her life journey, and to everyone that crossed her path.
She is survived her daughter Deborah (Martin Weaver) and grandson Michael Bouchard and predeceased by her precious granddaughter Samantha Bouchard. Also survived by her sister Judith Sears (late Donald Sears), brothers Richard Walters and Jack Walters (Jeanne) and several niece and nephews.
A Memorial Concert in Carol Lee's honor will be held on Friday, May 25th at 7pm at St Mary of the Lake Church—4737 Lake Shore Rd (Rt. 5), Hamburg N.Y.
