Obituary of Victoria Kaczmarek
Victoria was a kind-hearted woman who had a calling to help others her entire life. She devoted many years of her life to outreach and grief support at Our Lady of Victory before deciding to go into business for herself. Feeling she needed a change in career, she opened up “Creations by Victoria,” a bridal store that was a collaborative effort involving everyone in her family at one point or another. Her husband, John, did lighting and arrangements, while Vicky was a whiz with a sewing machine. She made beautiful veils and other creations for the couples she served.
Vicky and John had 4 daughters, and each of them had a very close relationship with her. She talked to each of them almost every day, and always managed to make time for the grandkids, too. Each of them will remember Vicky as a fun-loving woman who made everyone smile and laugh.
The blue rose held special significance for Vicky and her family. It symbolizes love, and also immortality. The blue rose was Vicky’s insignia when she was involved with grief support.
