Margaret "Peggy" Puleo was a kind and loving woman who dearly appreciated her family. Although she could be stubborn and had a strong independent streak, she would do anything to support those she loved. She and her late husband, Sam were very involved with the Hamburg Lions Club and dedicated a lot of their time and energy to helping their fellow community members. The couple was blessed with two beautiful children; Joseph and Linda. Later on, their family grew to include their grandchildren Dawn, Joseph, Sherri, Lauren, and Victoria. Peggy loved being a grandma and made a point to attend any sporting activities or extracurriculars they got involved in. She eventually welcomed 8 great-grandchildren as well. Family was the most important thing to Peggy and she cherished every moment with her grandkids and great-grandkids. When not spending time with family, Peggy enjoyed going to any garage sale she could find. This was a favorite hobby for her and Sam before his passing in 2010. She also had a gift for music and enjoyed playing the piano and organ when she was younger. Crossword puzzles were another thing she enjoyed well into her old age. Peggy also took much pride in her flower garden, especially her roses, which were her favorite. Peggy will be missed by many for her warm smile and her special way of caring.
