Ruth C. Baker

Ruth was a very caring woman with a warm, charismatic smile. When meeting her, you would instantly find a friend. She had a great sense of humor and always had a joke to lighten up the mood.

Ruth was very family oriented. She met and married the love of her life Robert in 1952. Together they spent a wonderful 65 years, making many memories along the way. They traveled together all over the United States and a trip to Alaska was one of her many favorites! She always appreciated the time she spent with her family members and she simply adored her daughters Cheryl, Cynthia and Colleen. The couple was eventually blessed with 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. One of the many things Ruth enjoyed doing for her family was cooking for everyone.

Ruth was a very crafty lady! She would sew and make baskets for craft shows.  She loved making dolls for her friends and family. She could always find a reason to go shopping and enjoyed a nice night out at a local bingo hall. Ruth had a soft spot for animals. She loved dogs and cats, and usually had a few furry friends in her life.
