Michael was a kind-hearted and genuine spirit. He spent a lot of time out of town working to provide when his kids were growing up, but he tried to spend as much time as he could get with his family. and made up for any missed time when his grandkids came along. His 4 grandsons and granddaughter were his world. He would always try to get to every one of his grandson's lacrosse games.
Michael was known by all of his friends and family as a trivia master – packed with loads of “useless information”. He knew random facts from any Jeopardy category you could throw at him, but he was especially knowledgeable about football and sports. Mike was an avid sports enthusiast loved to watch sports of all kinds – he even coached his daughter’s softball teams.
Everyone thought of him as a handy guy to have around – for his knowledge as well as his more technical skills. He could fix or build anything. He even built the house he family lived in.
