Obituary of Ruth Brown
Ruth was an amazing woman who laughed often, loved with all her heart, and lived to its fullest during her 98 precious years on Earth. Although life wasn’t always easy for her, she made the most of what she had and was grateful for it. Her family was the most important thing in her life, and she spent as much time as possible with her late husband Robert, their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was blessed to have many years to guide and help care for generations of children in her family.
Ruth was a woman who took pleasure in the simple things. She loved to play solitaire, watch soap operas, and do crossword puzzles. She loved to go out to lunch with family members, and also with retired Railroad employees while Robert was with her. Her favorites were Red Lobster and The Dove. Ruth also enjoyed gardening and grew flowers and vegetables.
