Obituary of Francis Connolly
Francis was a humble man who was known for his love. His capacity for love was limitless and when something seemed good to him, he tried his best to enjoy it. Francis liked supporting the Buffalo Bills, watching old westerns on TMC, and driving around to see the colors changing during autumn. Florida had a special place in Francis’ life, first as a travel destination, and later as a home. He even began volunteering as a sitter in a hospital in Florida. Despite not being the most extroverted man, he loved being able to help. There was nothing that Francis loved more than his family. Doting on his grandchildren was one of his favorite things to do. For Francis, after seeing so many men in his family pass too soon, he would say that every day after 62 was to be treasured. Francis loved to spend as many of those days as he could with his wife, Arlene. Together, they loved to watch sunsets and as they grew older, Francis learned how to cook for her. If you ask anyone who knew Francis, his most defining trait was his love and his ability to share it.
