Donald was a kind man with a gentle soul. He had a large heart that was filled with a love for his family and for God, and he would often go with his daughter to the Hamburg Beach to pray. Even though he didn’t drink or gamble, he greatly enjoyed going to Vegas with his family to spend time with them. Donald made it a point to show his gratitude to anyone who helped him, and he was very good at remembering everyone’s name.
Donald had many pastimes that kept him very happy and very busy, from garage sale hunting, to playing the accordion, to watching WWE with his son, Michael. When Donald moved into the nursing home, his favorite way to spend his time was watching the birds out the window of his room.
