David M. Wilson

David was a very hard worker who loved people. He was born in Ireland and came here with very little money in his pocket, we will never know exactly how much he had, as the amount changed every time the story was told. He moved to Buffalo to play soccer and ended up lucking out by meeting Betty, the love of his life. They married in 1959 and had children who quickly became David’s everything. He always made sure his kids were cared for and he treated his wife like gold. He was always sure to get her carnations, her favorite flower, and a box of sponge candy for special occasions.

David played soccer in his younger years and ended up moving to Buffalo following his love for the game. Although he ended up not playing for much longer, he still loved sports. He coached little league and held Bills and Sabres season tickets. He played Pinochle and had quite a poker face. He loved playing poker and quickly became a skilled player.

Please take a poker chip to remind you how David was the Royal Flush of your heart.
