Richard was a strong willed and passionate man. He loved his wife and children with everything he had. His passion didn’t stop there though - he lived for his career as a trucker. He was dedicated and extremely hard working. He had the utmost respect for his bosses and would have even been tempted to put in a half days work on his own wedding day had Janice not intercepted the call from his boss!
Richard wasn’t always all work and no play. In the little time he took off from work, he could be found at tractor pulls and truck shows all over, even as far as Louisville for the “mecca” of truck shows with his brothers and nephews. He also spent every day he could at the fair, trying different foods and talking to people. He loved getting to know new people and could carry on a conversation all day with a complete stranger. He was friendly, approachable, and well-liked by everyone he met.
Please take a Tractor Pull ticket to remember Richard and all the great times he spent with friends and family.
